What an incredible season it has been! At My Conditioning Coach, we focused on getting our age-group athletes in top condition to compete in the MTB Olympic Cross-Country (XCO) and MTB Cross-Country Short Track (XCC) seasons. These prestigious races are hosted by Cycling South Africa and various provincial structures, including a schools’ division.
We couldn’t be prouder of all our athletes. Special shoutouts go to Adian Claassen and Carla Kotze, whose hard work and dedication really paid off this year.

A well-structured strength and conditioning program are key to their success. By monitoring and analysing their performance data, we can tailor our training to focus on specific areas of improvement, manage their training loads, and ensure they peak at just the right time. This becomes especially crucial as young athletes grow and develop, adapting to the physical demands of their sport.
As we transition into the road cycling season, we congratulate all our MTB athletes on their outstanding achievements and wish them the best of luck for the challenges ahead!
